Computer is a smart machine which helps do a variety of tasks including study as well as play. Using computer we can add, subtract, draw charts and pictures. We can also play games on computer as well listen to music.

Parts of Computer

Computer has below parts

1. Keyboard
2. Mouse
3. CPU Case
4. Printer
5. Monitor
6. Speaker

Keyboard:-

Keyboard is part of computer which many keys to type. Using keyboard we write on the computer screen.

Mouse:-

Computer mouse is used to point to specific objects on monitor and select them. Computer mouse can have a wire or it can also be wireless

CPU:-

CPU (Central processing unit) is main part of the computer and is also called the brain of the computer. It controls all other parts of computer.

Printer:-

A printer is part of computer which prints what is written on screen to a paper. The printed paper sheet is called hardcopy.

Monitor:-

Monitor is where we see the work we are doing on computer like photos , videos or whatever we type on keyboard.

Speaker

Speaker are used to listen sound from computer.

All above parts of computer are attached by wires (and sometimes without wire as well) to CPU.

To conclude these different parts of computer work together to different tasks. Computer are very useful in day to day life. You would have seen some common uses of computers in supermarkets, schools, shops etc..
